A WITNESSING GENERATION

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 1:8 
The mandate of witnessing Christ is a spiritual order/ commission to tell the world about Jesus the savior of the world. The mandate is; tell your world/ generation to know how full of love and kindness our lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich 2 Cor 8:9.
IN WHICH FIELD IS THE HARVEST?
Your world is your stage for witnessing.
Everyone one of us is commanded to go out invite other and also allow those who join our church to have room for serving God in whatever capacity. Witnessing is a call for service beyond our immediate places of worship. Even though we must begin from where we are but we should never be limited in vision, so that our assembly will not become stagnant numerically.  Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.    Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.  And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. Act 8: 4-6.

 BEYOND PHYSICAL TASK
The work of witnessing is a spiritual work, therefore flesh is an offense.  Act18: 24-28, For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?  even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.   Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God;  that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.    Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth;  comparing spiritual things with spiritual.   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:  for they are foolishness unto him:  neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 cor. 2:11-16
Church is not a social programe, so the work of God and witnessing must be done with outmost spirituality and Godliness. Act 5: 1-11
THE PROGRESSIVE WORK THAT HAS NO LIMIT.
Act 2: 42- 47
Success is not a destination it’s an act
No progressive man celebrates yesterday commitment. If you stop doing that which made you, you become outdated.  Never set out to lead people, but determined to lead vision (Ben Ezekiel)
Be married to the vision of witnessing not the medium, and use the gift that the lord has given to you to win more souls to the kingdom of God.
Are you truly doing the work of witnessing?  This question deserves an honest answer.

1 Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people... God calls us “a royal priesthood”. This means that we are kings as well as priests under the king-priesthood of Jesus Christ. This has never happened before in the history of God’s people. In the Old Testament, kings and priests were two distinct groups of people. You were either a king or priest, but not both at the same time. Today, because we are in Christ, we are king-priests—a royal priesthood. HUMILITY Ephesians  5:21  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (Hebrews 13:7, 1 Peter 2:13) A genuine Christian do not exalt themselves above others. ASK IN JESUS’ NAME AND RECEIVE

John16:23“ … Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Do you always end your prayers with “in Jesus’ name”? Read:  Exodus 17:8–15 Aaron and Hur held [Moses’s] hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.— Exodus 17:12 Stories in the Bible can make us stop and wonder. For instance, when Moses led God’s people into the Promised Land and the Amalekites attacked, how did he know to go to the top of the hill and hold up God’s staff? (Ex. 17:8-15). We aren’t told, but we learn that when Moses raised his hands, the Israelites would win the battle, and when he lowered them, the Amalekites would win. When Moses got tired, his brother Aaron and another man, Hur, held up Moses’s arms so the Israelites could triumph.
